The Classic Vibe ‘70s Telecaster Custom is a faithful nod to the 1970s evolution of the Tele , creating incredible tone courtesy of the Fender-Designed alnico single-coil and Wide Range humbucking pickups. Player-friendly features include a slim, comfortable C -shaped neck profile with an easy-playing 9.5 -radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, as well as a vintage-style string-through-body Telecaster bridge with barrel saddles for solid string stability. This throwback Squier model also features 1970s-inspired headstock markings, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tint gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe.

A propper Telecaster for thebprice of a squier

You'll need to do a set up, thats for sure. But other than that its brilliant. Its different to my MIM Telecaster but beautifully so. The quality for the price is incredible. To be honest, you are better off getting one of these as opposed to the fender equivalent and spending the difference on a decent amp.

a Squier that has the feel of a Fender

Arrived set up quite well in terms of action but the strings were biting a little deep into the nut. New Tusq nut and size 10 strings and a bit more fettling with the saddles and she's perfect.

It took two specimens.

First one was a dud. F hole was shotty, scratches everywhere. Output jack was crooked. Although the Weight was perfect at 7lbs 1 ounce.
